Why this exists
Jesus Writing Month Has Always Been Free
When Jesus Writing Month began, we made a simple decision:
Cost should never be the reason someone misses an opportunity to pursue Christ alongside other believers.
Every year, writers from around the world come together to write, pray, encourage one another, and grow in their faith.
Many are students, young families, or believers who simply cannot afford expensive writing communities.
We believe they belong here anyway.

What God Has Done Through This Community
I truly feel like God has led me to this community.
This isn't just a group of Christian writers; it's the family of God, sharing each other's joy and sorrow, lifting each other up in prayer.
We have taken a month that can be so hard for most people, and turned it into a time of pursuit of the Lord.
I've gotta say, this is the warmest and most welcoming community I've been a part of.

A Note From The Founder
Hey, I'm Justice Tilsher,
founder of Jesus Writing Month and Story Stewards. Funny enough, when I first launched Jesus Writing Month, I didn't expect it to become the life-changing ministry it did.
During that first year, I spent the entire 30 days in awe.
What I imagined might be a meaningful writing challenge became a month where hundreds of writers found family, asked for prayer, opened up about fear and discouragement, and began surrendering their stories to God.
As the community grew, many people encouraged me to charge for access. But after seeing how God was using this ministry, I couldn't bear the thought of cost becoming a barrier for someone who needed it.
I believe God is doing something meaningful in the Christian writer space. And it is my honor to keep showing up for these writers.
I've seen firsthand how God uses this ministry. My goal is simple: keep the doors open for the next writer.

Jesus Writing Month receives no outside sponsorships and is supported by writers and ministry partners who believe in the mission.

The private, safe, moderated space where hundreds of writers gather to write, pray, and encourage one another.
